Burrs are quite an essential problem in different industries that involve metal or wood treatment. If left in open areas where they could be touched accidentally, burrs can lead to injuries. When hidden, burrs can result in scratches and serious damages to moving parts and various mechanisms because of jamming or abrasion caused by small solid particles falling off the edges. In order to avoid or, at least, minimize all these negative factors, deburring tools & blades are rather essential, especially in cases when burrs cannot be removed by automated milling or grinding machinery.
In our online store, you can find a nice collection of deburring hand tools and blades featuring various designs and meant for different materials including steel, aluminum, copper, plastic, and wood. For a small project, a regular scraper or blade is probably enough, but when it comes to professional use in a workshop or factory, we recommend selecting a complete kit with interchangeable or adjustable blades and/or bits. Typically, the bits can be used with power drills or screwdrivers when you're working with holes. For a longer service life, professional tools are often made of specialized cobalt-enriched alloys and feature diamond-coated blades and heavy-duty construction.
