When it comes to automotive repair and painting, proper tools are no less important than good experience and skills. Founded in 1946 in Dayton, Ohio, they manufacture auto body repair products, lockout tools, practical exterior parts holders, painter's tools and accessories, mechanic and specialty tools, and so on.
Constantly collecting new worthy ideas from mechanics and technicians, Steck uses its own body shop for research and development purposes and designs plenty of products aimed at boosting the efficiency of the repair job. Given a great variety of constructions and numerous variations of possible defects, such an approach makes sense, yet one of the main goals is to make the product more universal and convenient. For instance, a door jammer is a simple but useful tool allowing you to fix the door and keep it open at the necessary angle while you hammer, grind, paint, etc.
If you need to hold something but find traditional pliers rather inconvenient, check out the collection of Steck pliers.
