Nibblers are tools which are primarily utilized for cutting and trimming sheet metal. They are capable of performing their work with absolutely minimal distortions. Some of them operate in a similar fashion to punches and dies, with blades which move along another fixed blade to remove smaller pieces of metal or alloy and leave a special kerf behind. Others work similarly to tin snips, shearing the sheet along parallel tracks while rolling the waste metal in a special curve / spiral. Initially, these devices were manual, but these days, the pneumatic and electrically-powered models become more and more common.
Such products are specifically created for exacting work with deck and keystone plating, at the same time being capable of handling a wide array of other materials. Featuring an ergonomic design, the nibblers offered here are fairly lightweight. In order to ensure continuous operation, they come with lock-on switches. For greater convenience, these tools feature thickness gauges. Both punches and dies can be easily replaced while lowering your downtime and improving productivity. Regardless of whether you are planning on cutting out auto body parts or trimming metal for welding, nibblers that we carry are sure tools to own and utilize!
