A reamer is a rotary cutting tool that is widely used in metalworking to enlarge and finish a hole previously formed by an earlier process. So when you need an exact size hole, this is the reamer that can help you achieve the desired diameter. This tool can also take off the remaining material, leaving a smooth and clean finish. Reamers often come in handy for creating holes for dowel pins, shafts, bearings, shoulder bolts, etc. In our online store we provide you with an extensive array of high-quality reamers to help you find the solution that will ideally fit your individual needs and requirements.

Depending on the application, reamers are available in a variety of styles and sizes. Chucking reamers are ideal for modifying holes previously created using drill presses, milling machines or lathes. If you work with free-cutting steels or non-ferrous materials, high speed steel chucking reamers are a great way to go. Cobalt chucking reamers work well in cast iron, stainless steel, and titanium. They are built extremely tough to produce little chipping even under the harshest conditions. Bridge reamers, car reamers and other tapered reamers are great for handled applications where extreme precision is not necessarily required. Bridge reamers are well-suited for heavy-duty reaming encountered in ship construction, fabrication of structural steel and bridge erection, while car reamers are used in applications where bridge reamers would be too long.
